KI-X for communication in our company

Discussion with several speakers in front of an audience, presentation in the background about AI and communication.

Once again there was a lot going on at our company! On October 7 and 8, the Quadriga Campus hosted the KI-X, the conference for AI in communication. Around 175 participants and speakers from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland came together to explore the latest opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in PR & comms.

The opening act on the stage in the auditorium was Elisabeth L'Orange, which showed how AI influences our attention, decision-making processes and creativity. Sascha Lobo made it clear in his keynote speech how AI is simultaneously overestimated and underestimated - a provocative yet motivating invitation to question our own perspectives.

Tatyana Anisimov (RTL NEWS), Astrid Maier (dpa), Dr. Iris Heilmann (Palmer Hargreaves) and moderator Marten Neelsen discussed what AI is doing to journalism, authorship and truth.

It became particularly practical with Paul Elvers from the FUNKE Media Group, who reported on how FUNKE is actively involving its employees in the AI transformation and keeping social responsibility firmly in view. Janine Blum from tesa showed how global empowerment can succeed in the AI transformation - through targeted training, active participation and creative formats for employees worldwide. The public sector was also represented: Stefan Weber and Lisa Lange from the Darmstadt-Dieburg district administration presented how they are taking AI to a new level with the creative use of video formats and avatars - an inspiring example of how administrative communication can be innovatively designed.

Another highlight was the KI-X Night, the event in the evening on our own premises. At the KI-X Night, people networked, laughed and exchanged ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. Especially the Prompt Battle in room E.03 generated a lot of enthusiasm - not only impressive AI-generated images, but also many new contacts and ideas.

We are already looking forward to the next KI-X at the Quadriga Campus!
