Declaration on accessibility
The barrier-free use of our content is a high priority for Quadriga Media Berlin GmbH. We therefore endeavor to make our websites accessible to all persons in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG).
Accessibility status
Our websites are designed to be accessible and largely meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. This assessment is based on an internal audit and was carried out using both manual tests and automated tools. Some areas of the websites are already accessible, while we are still working on improvements in other areas.
Non-accessible content
We are aware of the following points that are not yet fully accessible:
- PDF documents: Older or non-accessible PDF files
- integrated third-party content: Third-party content (e.g. videos, maps) over which we have no editorial influence
- Forms: Partially missing labels or incorrect keyboard operation
- Keyboard operability: Some interactive elements are not fully operable with the keyboard
- Insufficient contrast: Partially insufficient color contrast ratio between text and background
- Alternative texts: Images and graphics sometimes contain no or insufficient alternative texts
- Videos without subtitles: Not all embedded videos contain subtitles or audio descriptions
- Dynamic content (e.g. sliders): Content changes automatically and is not always prepared correctly for screen readers
- Language changes in the text: Language changes are not always marked correctly

The verification of compliance with the requirements is based on an internal audit and was carried out using both manual tests and automated tools.
